I started handpoking tattoos on myself as a teenager and it has evolved over the last 10+ years into what is now my professional work. After a year stint in art school studying painting, I turned my energy towards tattoos as my primary medium. As an art form, they are the most accesible way of “owning” work by an artist, and it is ritualistic in nature like a performance. It’s thrilling to see one’s body transform and evolve in a matter of moments.

I am inspired by my surroundings, whether real or fantasy, and I view my flash as a visual diary of these experiences. My side project, Bygone Ruins, is more abstract, designed to be done on a larger scale, in color and with more freedom than that under Clementine Eyes.

I have had the pleasure of working alongside other makers, such as Canary Canyon and Clumsy Honey, designing their product labels.

My other creative works consists of graphite drawings that highlight natural mysticism.

As a vegan, all products I use in my practice are free of animal-based ingredients and are cruelty free. I aim to transition to plastic-free disposables in the near future.
